A charitable organisation rooted in community, driven by purpose, and built on the belief that every person deserves dignity and opportunity.
WE HEARD Foundation was established in 2007 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. Born from a deep commitment to the upliftment of marginalised and socially backward communities, the foundation began its journey with a clear conviction: sustainable development must start from the ground up.
The name WE HEARD is not just a title β it is a promise. It stands for Women, Empowerment, Health, Education, Agriculture, Rural Development and Disaster Management β the seven core pillars that define everything we do.
Over 15 years, we have grown from a local initiative into an organisation that has touched over 54 million lives, supported by a dedicated network of 360 active volunteers across India.
To promote self-reliance and sustainable development in society with a special focus on education, ensuring that underprivileged and socially backward communities can access the resources, knowledge, and opportunities they deserve.
An India where every woman, child, and community β regardless of social or economic standing β has the voice, tools, and support to build a dignified, self-sufficient life. A society where no one is left behind.
